Owen DanielsProcurement Manager Owen Daniels is currently partnered with a global aerospace technology leader that develops innovative solutions supporting reliable, efficient, and increasingly sustainable flight across the full aircraft lifecycle, including aftermarket support. They are seeking a Procurement Manager to manage daily procurement activities for raw materials, parts, equipment, and operating supplies, driving lean enterprise systems throughout the process. This role provides leadership in partnering with suppliers, operations, sourcing, production planners, and IT to strategically plan and coordinate material and information flow from customers through procurement to delivery. Job Summary Drive improvements across key supply chain metrics including lead time, on-time performance, and delivery Support sourcing of new products and new product introduction activities in line with company policy and strategy Lead and manage procurement and materials management, including order placement, supplier follow-up, and compliance with government procurement regulations Organize, direct, and implement cost-reduction activities to maximize return for minimum expenditure Maintain and build supplier relationships and robust communication processes Help define and implement automated systems to plan and track material flow supporting supply chain strategy Work with suppliers on continuous improvement programs addressing quality, delivery, service, and price Provide analytical support, monitoring metrics for customers, management, and the team Lead cross-functional and independent projects through management, analysis, or data development Lead, direct, and provide professional development for team members Required and Desirable Experience Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, engineering, or materials management 5+ years of supply chain managerial experience Certification in supply chain management preferred Strong analytical and technical skills, with functional understanding of cost accounting Advanced computer skills and understanding of MRP/ERP systems Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Problem-solver with a growth mindset and practical lean principles experience Key Details Competitive compensation with Annual Incentive Plan participation Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance coverage 401(k) with 100% match on first 5% of pay, plus company-funded 3% defined-contribution retirement plan Career development and tuition reimbursement Paid Time Off and 13 company-paid holidays Drug-free workplace; subject to U.S. export compliance / government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements
