Procurement Manager

As a emeis Procurement Manager, you will direct and coordinate procurement activities within a district. Collaborate with industry experts and committed teams to negotiate with suppliers and implement strategic sourcing initiatives that align with our goals. Your expertise will be essential in optimizing procurement processes and driving strategic partnerships The right candidate needs to be comfortable learning and adapting with an evolving industry, working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment Responsibilities: Order materials, equipment and supplies for the shop, office, and all active projects. Oversee the Receiving team to ensure proper documentation and storage. Verify stock materials and replenish as needed. Define, evaluate, and refine preferred vendor relationships. Develop and improve procurement SOPs and purchasing workflows. Track purchases, deliveries, and procurement lists, on Google Sheets that are shared files, for team collaboration. Support acquisitions assessments and renovation scope planning with procurement-side input on cost and timeline. Manage, train, and delegate across a procurement team, balancing hands-on execution with team leadership. Review completed projects with Estimating to reconcile material costs and update cost groups. Manage vendor returns and refunds promptly. Develop procurement strategy and continuously improve purchasing workflows. Key Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. 5+ years of purchasing experience in a distribution environment. Hands-on expertise with Infor SXe (or a similar ERP system). Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Comfort working in a fast-paced environment. Experience with inventory management, budget planning, and demand forecasting. Distribution/manufacturing experience and familiarity with electrical products are a plus. We believe in creating the greatest good for society.
