Procurement Manager

Position Title: Procurement Manager Reports to: Director of ReStores & VP of Retail Pay Range: $21.00-$25.00/hr. POSITION SUMMARY: The Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s purchasing activities to ensure cost-effective and high-quality procurement of goods. This role manages supplier relationships, negotiates contracts, ensures compliance with budget and organizational policies, and maintains inventory control. The Procurement Manager plays a key role in ensuring that all materials and services support HFH’s mission and operational efficiency. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives. · Actively engage with local businesses to procure donations. · Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery for all supplies, materials, and contracted services. · Evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, service, and reliability. · Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to ensure favorable outcomes. · Monitor supplier performance and resolve performance issues as needed. · Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. · Work collaboratively with internal departments to forecast demand and establish inventory levels. · Continuously evaluate the procurement process to identify cost-saving opportunities. · Oversee the timely and accurate processing of purchase orders and invoices. · Coordinate with the Director of Restores, the VP of Retail and Finance to manage budgets and ensure cost control. REQUIRED AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: · Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. · Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management. · Proven negotiation and contract management skills. · Strong organizational and analytical skills. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office. · Experience in a nonprofit or retail-related environment ROLE-SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES: · Strategic Sourcing · Contract Negotiation and Management · Supplier Relationship Management · Budget and Cost Control · Inventory and Forecast Planning · Regulatory Compliance Required License or Certification · Valid Driver’s License · Must meet Affiliate’s driver guidelines for insurability · Required to pass a Background Check, Drug Screen and Credit check prior to being hired. · Random quarterly drug screens are also performed at Habitat for Humanity.
