Procurement Manager

Overview As a Procurement Manager, you’ll guide sourcing and purchasing activities that help teams secure the materials, services, and contracts they need. You’ll manage supplier relationships, strengthen procurement processes, and coordinate with stakeholders across the organization. This role brings together strategic planning and hands-on contract work, including public sector purchasing where applicable. Your impact: By aligning supplier performance, contract terms, and business needs, you help internal teams access dependable goods and services while supporting effective supply chain operations. Responsibilities Lead procurement management, strategic sourcing, category management, and purchasing activities. Negotiate procurement contracts and manage contract terms, renewals, and supplier commitments. Build supplier relationships and coordinate with finance, operations, logistics, and other cross-functional partners. Use enterprise resource planning (ERP) and e-procurement systems, such as SAP or Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), to support purchasing and materials requirements planning (MRP). Review procurement processes, apply relevant regulatory requirements, and use root cause analysis to address sourcing, quality, or supply chain issues. Skills Required: Procurement, purchasing, supplier management experience, contract management, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration. Required: Knowledge of procurement regulations and experience with procurement contract negotiation or vendor contract management. Preferred: Experience with SAP, Oracle EBS, ERP systems, MRP, and e-procurement systems. Preferred: Background in public sector purchasing, direct negotiation procurement, procurement category management, or project management. Familiarity with supply chain management, logistics, quality management, and materials management is an asset.
