There is never a dull moment with us.Job Description/Preferred QualificationsOversee a team of buyers in charge of procuring components for the USOPs products and spares, and responsible for purchase orders execution, management, and complianceLeads the team in executing best practices for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including supplier quality, on time delivery, service, and complianceMaintain supplier relationships and lead complex problem solving initiatives and negotiationsDevelop strategic plans to address delayed shipments or discontinued products and componentsPartners with production planning, supply chain and master scheduling to recommend supply chain solutions and strategic/tactical plans based on business data, commodity, and product knowledgeMaintains strong communication with engineering and manufacturing to address shortages and obsolescence issuesPartners with finance and master scheduling to optimize inventory, reduce excess, and minimize price variancesDrives cost reduction strategies and lead time reduction initiativesMinimum Qualifications7 years of experience in supply chain operations and supply chain improvements in complex manufacturing environment; strong preference for experience in semiconductor equipment industry or other complex, high-mix, low-volume productsExperience with multiple aspects of advanced supply chain operations, including:Supply and demand management effectiveness (upturn and downturns)Achieving cost reductionsStrong leadership, negotiation and people management skillsLead thru curiosity and continuous improvements.Empower staff and talent growth thru delegating; coaching; and developing skills extending outside job description boundaries.Effective communication and presentation skillsHigh proficiency in MS ExcelExperience with Tableau, Power BI or other business intelligence/analytical tools/services is a plusExperience with SAP ERP system is a plusShould enjoy a challenging and fast paced environment.Ability to effectively deal with ambiguity, identify gaps, and implement innovative solutions to increase operational efficiencySelf-driven, independent, yet a strong team player.Creative, innovative, and resourceful with a passion for speed, agility, simplification and proactive actionBase Pay Range: $101,500.00 - $172,600.00 AnnuallyPrimary Location: USA-MI-Ann Arbor-KLAKLA’s total rewards package for employees may also include participation in performance incentive programs and eligibility for additional benefits including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, life, and other voluntary benefits, 401(K) including company matching, employee stock purchase program (ESPP), student debt assistance, tuition reimbursement program, development and career growth opportunities and programs, financial planning benefits, wellness benefits including an employee assistance program (EAP), paid time off and paid company holidays, and family care and bonding leave.Interns are eligible for some of the benefits listed.…
