You will own end-to-end procurement cycles, negotiate complex agreements, and build scalable processes that support aggressive infrastructure deployment timelines.Key ResponsibilitiesLead strategic sourcing initiatives for key categories including compute hardware (GPUs, CPUs), networking, cooling, and data center servicesNegotiate and execute vendor agreements, MSAs, SOWs, and hardware purchase contracts to achieve optimal pricing and termsBuild and manage a portfolio of preferred suppliers, maintaining robust qualification and performance management frameworksCollaborate with Legal, Finance, and Engineering teams to ensure contracts align with technical requirements, financial targets, and risk policiesDrive cost reduction initiatives and track savings against procurement budgets on a quarterly and annual basisOwn the purchase order lifecycle from requisition through payment, ensuring SLA compliance and issue resolutionDevelop procurement policies, playbooks, and standard operating procedures to improve consistency and complianceManage and mentor Procurement Analysts, providing coaching and career development supportMonitor market trends in semiconductor supply chains, hardware pricing, and logistics to inform sourcing strategyPartner with the Data Center team on infrastructure buildout procurement requirements and vendor selectionQualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred5–8 years of procurement experience, with at least 2 years managing direct spend categories in a technology or infrastructure environmentDemonstrated track record of successfully negotiating and managing multi-million-dollar vendor contractsExperience with sourcing GPU/AI accelerator hardware, servers, or data center infrastructure strongly preferredProficiency with procurement systems (Coupa, SAP Ariba, or similar) and ERP platformsStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams High proficiency in data analysis and spend analytics toolsPreferred QualificationsDirect experience at a cloud hyperscaler, data center operator, or AI infrastructure companyFamiliarity with NVIDIA, AMD, or custom ASIC hardware procurementCPSM, CPP, or CSCP certificationExperience building procurement functions from early-stage through scaleCompensation$110,000 - $120,000Final compensation will vary depending on years of experience, background/skill set, location, and applicable laws.
