We are a large scale industrial electrical contractor with projects located across the United States. We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized and proactive individual to join our procurement/logistics team as a Procurement Coordinator.
The Procurement Coordinator supports the procurement and logistics team
This position typically works 8 hours per day/5 hours per week in our Whitesboro office.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Procurement support
Process receipts of material orders as submitted by superintendents
Follow specified escalation process when orders are not “received” timely
Provide metrics/analytics and present during weekly office meetings to facilitate identification of training needs, process changes, etc.
Assist procurement staff with material orders
Hospitality
Coordinate meals for office events including once weekly office breakfasts and lunches
Coordinate meals for our training center and office staff as needed
Maintain relationships with current food vendors
Develop relationships with new vendors
Analyze patterns to ensure efficient and cost-effective ordering
Mail/deliveries
Receive mail and office deliveries
Mail packages and mail when necessary
Provide administrative support to procurement team
Qualifications
2 years of administrative experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
High level of follow-through
Strong attention to detail
Proactive approach to customer service
Work Environment
In-office work required
Fast-paced construction environment
Interaction with internal office staff, superintendents, and project managers
