Are you a detail-driven supply chain professional who thrives on keeping production running smoothly and efficiently? We’re looking for a proactive and highly organized individual to take ownership of production procurement and planning for blister and bottling finished goods. In this role, you’ll be at the center of operations—collaborating cross-functionally, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring materials are in the right place at the right time to meet customer demand. What You’ll Do Plan and manage component inventory levels based on forecasts and open orders Create part numbers, descriptions, and component lists for new product launches and updates Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Labeling, Scheduling, and Quality to support launches and revisions Monitor schedules, inventory, lead times, and production progress to ensure on-time delivery Place purchase orders, track supplier performance, and manage delivery timelines Drive cost-saving initiatives, risk reduction strategies, and supply chain improvements Evaluate and qualify suppliers; negotiate pricing and contracts Manage relationships with 30+ vendors and resolve material, shipping, or invoicing issues Stay informed on market trends affecting materials and pricing Support MRP data accuracy and collaborate on system setup for components and recipes Serve as backup for Inventory Control Specialist and MRO Buyer as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of buyer/planner experience preferred Experience with MRP systems Background in FDA-regulated and cGMP environments strongly preferred Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables); proficiency in Word and Outlook Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Project management experience is a plus DEA clearance required (including drug testing) We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
