Procurement Buyer

Our client, a growing food manufacturing organization is hiring a new position of Protein Procurement Buyer . This role is ideal for a purchasing professional who enjoys managing supplier relationships, forecasting demand, and driving service levels in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Serve as the primary contact between suppliers, customers, and internal commercial teams. Coordinate purchasing activities and manage supplier agreements and pricing. Work closely with Demand Planning to align supply with short- and long-term forecasts. Monitor inventory, supply shortages, and service level performance, implementing solutions as needed. Participate in S&OP meetings and support procurement decision-making. Provide procurement input for new product development, costing, and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements: 3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, buying, or supply chain. Experience within food manufacturing is preferred. Protein or meat procurement experience is required . Strong forecasting, planning, and supplier management skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
