For our client, we are seeking a Procurement Anst Prin to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This role will oversee cradle-to-grave procurement activities and guide a team responsible for sourcing, negotiations, and supplier management. The position plays a key part in shaping category strategies, supporting proposal efforts, and ensuring procurement decisions align with compliance requirements and operational goals. It also partners closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and program teams to resolve issues and improve performance across the supply chain. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually Responsibilities Direct daily operations and lead cradle-to-grave procurement activities Manage a diverse team of procurement professionals in proposal preparation, negotiations, and supplier management Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and drive continuous improvement initiatives Coordinate activities among various teams to develop supply chain strategies Resolve technical and programmatic issues by leveraging organizational capabilities Prepare and present briefings to management and program teams as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6+ years of relevant experience, preferably in government contracting Ability to obtain up to $1M Delegation of Authority approval Familiarity with the Aerospace & Defense industry and procurement roles Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations Experience developing category and commodity strategies in Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, and Mechanical technologies Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite U.S. citizenship required Benefits Hybrid work format allowing for both onsite and remote work Opportunity to lead a diverse team and impact significant procurement strategies Engagement in high-value projects within the Aerospace & Defense sector Professional development opportunities in a dynamic industry Collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
