This position serves as a subject matter expert in procuring and negotiating high-dollar district-wide contracts, purchase orders, change orders and claims, including major technology systems; and overseeing the procurement of a large functional area such as Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment, Media Advertising, Technology Hardware and Software or Construction. Essential Functions 70% Negotiates and procures high-dollar district-wide contracts, purchase orders, change orders and claims for assigned commodities, such as, Major District-wide Employee Benefits packages, Software systems, IT equipment and networking infrastructure, Medical Equipment and Construction projects.
