Procurement Analyst

This is a 12-month contract position working in Falls Church, VA (Hybrid). We are offering a pay rate up to $40/hr W2 based on skill set. Duration: 12-month contract Location: Falls Church, VA (Hybrid) What You’ll Be Doing Procurement Analyst supports the procurement team by reviewing purchase requirements, preparing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring that purchasing activities follow company policies and meet internal stakeholder needs. Review purchase requisitions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with procurement policies and procedures. Create, process, and manage Purchase Orders (POs) within the company’s procurement system. Assist in supplier negotiations to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and quality service. Confirm and document supplier payment terms and ensure alignment with internal financial policies. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Operations, and functional teams, to clarify requirements and resolve procurement related inquiries. Support invoice and payment resolution by addressing discrepancies, communicating with suppliers, and coordinating with Accounts Payable. Maintain supplier records, contracts, and data to ensure accuracy and accessibility. Conduct basic spend analysis to identify cost saving opportunities and trends. Help monitor supplier performance and escalate issues when needed. Support onboarding of new suppliers and ensure required documentation is completed. What We’re Looking For Must have a High School diploma Must be a US Citizen 2+ years of prior experience purchasing IT products and professional services is required Knowledge of procurement platforms such as Coupa, Ivalua, and Costpoint is a plus.
