Procurement Analyst

We are seeking a Procurement Analyst to join our Calgary office. Reporting to the Contracts and Procurement Advisor, this role coordinates remote accommodations across our Capital and Production Operations camps and provides analytical and administrative support to the Contracts and Procurement team. The successful candidate will work closely with field teams, corporate stakeholders, and service providers to plan accommodation requirements, improve camp utilization, and support procurement reporting and sourcing activities. Key Responsibilities Procurement Analytics & Support Extract, validate, and model data from accounts payable and other systems to develop reliable spend reports and Power BI dashboards by category, vendor, business unit, and site. Analyze spending trends and prepare clear summaries and practical recommendations for management and internal stakeholders. Administer the corporate fuel surcharge program, including calculating rates against the applicable fuel price index, communicating updates, maintaining vendor lists and supporting records, and responding to vendor questions. Support fuel surcharge invoice validation and audits, and analyze the program’s cost impact over time. Contribute to category and sourcing strategies using spend analysis, market information, and stakeholder requirements. Support sourcing events, including preparing RFI/RFQ/RFP documents, coordinating bidder communications, and developing bid evaluation and comparison models. Camp Accommodation Coordination Serve as the central point of contact for camp accommodations, establishing consistent processes for bookings, changes, and cancellations across multiple sites. Work with Capital and Production Operations teams to forecast accommodation needs based on project schedules, workforce levels, and rotations. Coordinate with camp operators, catering, housekeeping, maintenance, and transportation providers to support service delivery and resolve day-to-day issues. Monitor occupancy, bed utilization, turnover, and costs, supporting accurate invoicing and cost allocation across projects and departments. Maintain vendor relationships and monitor service, safety, and cost performance, working with the appropriate teams to address concerns. Identify opportunities to improve utilization and reduce costs, including evaluating build, lease, and mobile accommodation options and supporting recommendations to expand, downsize, decommission, or convert facilities. Qualifications 3–5 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, contracts, or camp and logistics coordination, preferably within oil and gas or another industry with remote operations. Post-secondary diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field. Strong analytical and data modelling skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards. Experience preparing spend reports and translating data into practical recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences. Working knowledge of procurement and contracting processes, including sourcing events and contract administration. Vendor management experience and familiarity with remote logistics, workforce rotations, and mobilization planning. Financial acumen, including accommodation cost modelling, cost per bed or person-night analysis, and cost allocation. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to balance day-to-day accommodation requirements with analytical and procurement work.
