Overview Create Compounding Pharmacy - Vancouver is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Procurement Administrator . The Procurement Administrator is responsible for supporting the purchasing and inventory management of raw materials, medications, and supplies. This role ensures that all materials required for all operations are available in the right quantities, at the right time, and at appropriate cost, while maintaining compliance with regulatory and quality standards. The role works closely with all departments to balance operational needs, inventory levels, and budget considerations. Duties Procurement & Purchasing Communicate with the Director of Supply Chain regarding pricing and availability Evaluate supplier options and support cost-effective purchasing decisions Ensure orders align with approved budgets and inventory forecasts Inventory Management Monitor inventory levels and reorder points for critical lab, pharmacy and shipping supplies Track usage trends and anticipate future supply needs Support cycle counts and physical inventory reconciliation Help maintain optimal stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking Collaboration & Operations Support Work closely with all Departments Managers Support timely ordering to avoid interruptions in compounding operations Liaise with pharmacy and lab teams to prioritize urgent or high-impact orders Communicate proactively when supply constraints may affect operations Assist in organizing incoming shipments and verifying deliveries Compliance & Documentation Maintain accurate procurement records and filing systems Ensure purchasing documentation is completed according to internal procedures Support audit readiness by keeping records organized and up to date Team Collaboration Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding supply status Follow the direction from the Director of Supply Chain and support procurement priorities Participate in improving basic procurement and inventory processes over time Experience 1–2 years of experience in purchasing or inventory control At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy assistant Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer systems Good communication and organizational skills Ability to work in a structured, regulated environment This role is perfect for motivated professionals eager to make an impact in procurement operations while advancing their expertise in supply chain management!
