Process Engineer
Lennox InternationalThe Process Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, stabilize, and continuously improving distribution center processes to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable parts operations. This role serves as a key operational partner during this start up and ongoing operations, translating business and operational requirements into practical processes, standard work, system requirements, and measurable standards. Working cross-functionally with Safety, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, IT, and other key stakeholders, the Process Engineer helps ensure accurate inventory, effective material flow, system integration, and operational readiness. This role drives a structured approach to problem solving and continuous improvement while building sustainable processes that support safety, quality, delivery, cost, and overall operational performance. Core Areas of Responsibility Design, analyze, implement, and continuously improve end-to-end warehouse processes across receiving, staging, putaway, storage, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and inventory control, Develop, validate, and maintain standard work, SOPs, Work Instructions, process maps, visual controls, and other operational standards to enable consistent execution, training, process adherence, and sustainability. Support warehouse startup, launch readiness, ramp-up, expansions, and operational transitions, including process design, implementation, validation, stabilization, and post-launch optimization. Partner closely with Operations leadership to identify constraints, eliminate waste, improve material flow, and drive measurable improvements in safety, quality, productivity, cost, delivery, and service performance. Lead and facilitate Continuous Improvement activities, including Kaizen events, root cause analysis, value stream mapping, process observations, and structured problem-solving efforts, Develop and maintain process performance indicators, operational metrics, and process controls to identify trends, expose performance gaps, support decision-making, and verify the effectiveness of process improvements. Support inventory accuracy and system integrity through disciplined process design and adherence to standards. Partner with IT and Systems teams to translate operational requirements into effective SAP ERP and SAP EWM processes, supporting process design, system enablement, testing, validation, deployment, issue resolution, and continuous improvement. Develop and mantain labor standards, time studies, and capacity models to support operational planning and staffing decisions. Integrate Safety, Quality, and regulatory requirements into process design and improvement activities. Support the development and implementation of training materials and change management for new and modified processes.
