Process Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Process Assistant to join our logistics and warehouse operations team. Responsibilities Assist in daily warehouse distribution activities, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control to ensure seamless operations Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and implementing best practices aligned with lean management principles Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners safely and efficiently following OSHA guidelines Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems and inventory management software Coordinate with team members and supervisors to facilitate warehouse operations, including order picking, packing, and shipment preparation Conduct regular warehouse safety inspections, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and safety protocols Support team leadership by managing workload distribution, training new staff on warehouse procedures, and fostering a positive team environment Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution or logistics environments with a strong understanding of warehouse operations Hands-on experience operating forklifts, RF scanners, and other material handling equipment Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse management systems (WMS) Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, materials handling, and heavy lifting techniques Strong communication skills for managerial coordination and team leadership roles Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking Demonstrated commitment to safety standards such as OSHA regulations and safe material handling practices Prior experience in warehouse supervisor roles or team management is a plus Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to excellence in logistics!
