Print Production Specialist

Minuteman Press | Prosper, TX Minuteman Press Prosper is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Print Production Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will operate digital and large-format printing equipment, perform finishing work, and ensure customer orders are produced accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, quality, and delivering outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities Operate digital presses, large-format printers, cutters, folders, laminators, and related production equipment. Review job tickets, artwork, and specifications to ensure accurate production. Perform finishing services including cutting, binding, laminating, mounting, packaging, and quality inspection. Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process. Troubleshoot equipment and production issues to minimize downtime. Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient production environment. Perform routine maintenance on production equipment. Manage and replenish production supplies, including paper, ink, printer components, and shipping materials. Assist with inventory management, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment. Additional Responsibilities During production downtime, the Print Production Specialist will also assist with front-office and operational tasks, including: Answering phone, email, and walk-in customer inquiries. Creating and managing jobs within our print management software (training provided). Entering orders, preparing estimates, and tracking production schedules. Communicating with customers and vendors regarding quotes, orders, product availability, and project updates. Maintaining an organized showroom, production area, and inventory storage. Supporting marketing, administrative, and general business operations as needed. Qualifications Commercial prepress or print production experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and production challenges. Experience operating printing, finishing, and bindery equipment. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Reliable, punctual, and committed to producing high-quality work. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications · Knowledge of Fiery workflows and Xerox digital presses is advantageous; however, training can be provided for the right candidate. Experience with large-format printing and signage production. Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Understanding of color management, print registration, file setup, and print-ready artwork preparation.
