University of North DakotaPrint & Mail Courier 499639 Grand Forks, North Dakota, United States UND Print & Mail Center Other Full-time Staff Closing on: Oct 18 2026 Salary/Position Classification $33,300 + Annual, Dependent on Experience, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime) 40 hours per week This position will work onsite at UND Grand Forks, ND campus Purpose of Position Deliver campus mail, printing jobs, and other parcels, timely and accurately, across campus and provide support to the Print & Mail Center as needed. Duties & Responsibilities Process, Deliver and Pick Up incoming and outgoing Intra-Campus Mail, Packages and Paper Perform all phases of mail handling: Breakdown and processing of intra-campus and inbound mail and parcels, preparation of and processing of all outbound mail and parcels Deliver and pick up of all intra-campus mail, printing jobs, Federal Express, USPS, and UPS letters and parcels to various Campus Departments at scheduled times Maintain accurate and organized delivery records and use a handheld computer to update delivery records Deliver copier paper and office supplies to intra-campus departments Demonstrate professionalism and provide excellent customer service to maintain strong customer relations Receive UPS and Federal Express Packages and Maintain Records in Campus Postal Services Delivery Database Receive and in-check packages from UPS, Federal Express and other shipping companies. Create and maintain records in the Print & Mail Center’s package tracking system for all received packages and other accountable items Maintain Delivery Vehicles Perform & document vehicle inspection monthly by checking all fluid levels, belts, lights, horn, and brakes to insure working properly Assist with maintaining other vehicles in Print & Mail Center’s fleet Vehicle assigned will be kept clean inside and out, operated in a safe manner, and all traffic laws obeyed Perform light cleaning on weekly basis of courier vehicle, inside and out. Provide backup services for Printing and Mailing Clerks when needed Answer telephones and be able to provide information on all printing, mailing, and shipping matters Assist with metering outgoing mail and be able to select the best mailing rate Help monitor U.S Postal bulk mail area and accurately charge postage to departments utilizing Print & Mail Center’s accounting system Aid in preparing mail as needed using the mail tabbing machine, folder, mail inserter, address printer and mailing software Ensure mail and documentation for mailings meet USPS regulations Assist with paper and office supply inventories monthly Assist in printing bindery operations, cutting, scoring, folding, saddle-stitch, drilling, collating, fan-apart padding, and GBC binding - Other Duties Perform weekly housekeeping in warehouse and office areas to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Perform other duties as assigned Attend training workshops toward present and future career development (as budget allows) Participate in general staff meetings and contribute to the implementation of special projects when assigned Positive Outlook & Contribution: "Positive outlook" refers to a general tendency to see future possibilities and outcomes in favorable terms.
