Role Description The Principal Supply Chain Consultant is a full-time remote role responsible for leading complex client engagements and designing end-to-end supply chain solutions. Day-to-day tasks include assessing client supply chain processes, analyzing data to identify improvement opportunities, and developing strategies for demand planning, inventory optimization, and procurement. The role involves advising senior client stakeholders, preparing proposals and presentations, and guiding implementation roadmaps for process and system changes. The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional client teams, mentor junior consultants, and ensure project deliverables meet quality, timeline, and budget expectations. Ongoing responsibilities also include tracking performance metrics, recommending continuous improvements, and contributing to thought leadership and service offering development within Connect Team Inc. Qualifications Strong expertise in Supply Chain Management and Procurement, with proven experience optimizing end-to-end supply chain processes. Advanced proficiency in Demand Planning, including forecasting, inventory management, and sales and operations planning. Demonstrated Consulting experience, including client-facing work, solution design, and executive-level communication. Excellent Analytical Skills, with the ability to work with large data sets, use quantitative methods, and translate insights into actionable recommendations. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., APICS/CSCP, CPSM) are a plus. Proven track record leading complex projects, managing stakeholders, and delivering measurable results in a remote consulting environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, presentation abilities, and comfort working with global and cross-functional teams. Experience with supply chain planning tools, ERP systems, and analytics platforms is highly beneficial.
