Northrop Grumman Defense Systems currently has an opening for a Principal Logistics Engineer/ Sr. Principal Logistics Engineer . This position will be in Roy, UT . What you will get to do: The ideal candidate is a team player; but also, a strong independent contributor with strong leadership skills, demonstrated problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, as well as interpersonal and organizational skills and a proactive, detail-oriented approach. Primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: Support development of a product support plan demonstrating solutions for all 12 IPS elements Synthesize logistics data, develop and maintain metric dashboards, and create reportsto drive operational insight and decision-making. Use provisioning data to identify, select, catalog and determine support material requirements, and in the development of Provisioning Parts List and design Change Notifications. Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and configuration rationales; develop and execute unit-test scenarios and data sets. Produce and maintain comprehensive logistics support documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards. Develop and maintain logistics database Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and SMEs to architect integrated logistics solutions that align with strategic objectives and sustain long-term capability. Foster strong relationships with the user community, acting as a trusted resource and advisor while ensuring leadership involvement and ownership of logistics initiatives.
