Pricing Manager – International Freight Forwarding Company: Aksu & Arno Logistics, Inc. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Pricing Manager to lead our air and ocean freight pricing activities, strengthen carrier relationships, and develop competitive pricing strategies that support sustainable business growth. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement competitive pricing strategies for international air and ocean freight services. Manage daily spot quotations, RFQs, and strategic tenders, ensuring timely and accurate responses. Negotiate competitive rates and service agreements with airlines, ocean carriers, NVOCCs, trucking companies, and other logistics providers. Establish and maintain strong relationships with carriers, overseas agents, and global logistics partners. Monitor freight market trends, carrier capacity, seasonal fluctuations, and pricing developments. Work closely with Sales and Operations teams to provide competitive solutions while maintaining profitability. Develop pricing policies, margin guidelines, and standardized quotation procedures. Analyze shipment profitability, procurement costs, and pricing performance to identify opportunities for improvement. Maintain accurate carrier rate databases, pricing tools, and procurement records. Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives. Support the company's network expansion and development of new trade lanes. Build scalable pricing processes and contribute to the future development of the pricing department. Prepare pricing performance reports, market analyses, and strategic recommendations for senior management. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field preferred. Prefferably 5 years of professional experience in international freight forwarding, with substantial exposure to air and ocean freight pricing. Prior experience in a Pricing Manager, Senior Pricing Specialist, Procurement, or similar commercial position preferred. Strong knowledge of international transportation markets, freight rate structures, and carrier procurement processes. Demonstrated experience handling complex RFQs, tenders, and rate negotiations. Understanding of Incoterms, international shipping procedures, and freight forwarding operations. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with freight forwarding software and pricing systems. Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills, commercial awareness, and attention to detail. Self-motivated professional with a proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
