Read more at www.dsv.com Location: USA - South San Francisco, 395 Oyster Point Division: Air & Sea Job Posting Title: Pricing Analyst, Operations Time Type: Full Time Summary The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for quoting DSV US Air and Sea shipments in accordance with the established DSV pricing framework. The role will work closely with regions/sub-regions/branches, including sales and operations, to support business growth and retention. Duties and Responsibilities Produce accurate and timely quotes within the defined pricing system to support Operations or Sales Customer requests. Work closely with sales and operations teams to understand customer needs and develop pricing proposals that meet those needs. Analyze pricing data and trends to identify areas where pricing strategies need attention and optimization. Monitor individual pricing performance and identify areas where improvements are needed to win business. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that pricing strategies align with overall business objectives. Support the maintenance of the pricing databases. Educational background / Work experience 4+ years of experience in a pricing or analytical role in the transportation and logistics industry. 6+ years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work with large amounts of data. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, economics, mathematics, or a related field. Experience with pricing in the transportation and logistics industry. Experience in transportation and logistics operations. Language skills Fluent in English (oral and written) Computer Literacy Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools. Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is preferred. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, geographic location and other objective business considerations.
