Press Room Helper-Forklift Driver

Relocates and/or stacks raw materials and finished parts using manual and powered material handling equipment. Assists in loading and unloading raw material from cradles and reels. Bands unused portion of coils. Slits material for sample orders. Assists operator to stack parts. Removes finished parts to stock room. Drives fork lift truck as required to load material or dump scrap and maintains record of weights. Assists in change over of presses, moving press dies, bolster plates, etc. Cleans work area, machines and equipment. Refers problems to foreman.
