The job duties include but are not limited to: helping citizens through non-emergency lines, 911 emergency lines and in person, as well as communicating with police, fire and medical via two-way radios. The desired candidate would need to be able to multitask, possess basic computer/typing skills and have the ability to remain calm under stressful situations. The desired candidate would be available to work holidays, weekends and rotating shifts. The schedule can include 8-hour shifts, 10-hour shifts and/or 12-hour shifts, as Communications is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. ****Applications will be accepted until position is filled**** Starting salary $42,463.81 Opportunities for advancement and overtime!
