Plumbing Dispatcher

About the Position Water Works Plumbing is seeking an experienced, organized, and proactive Plumbing Dispatcher to coordinate daily service operations, schedule technicians, and ensure our customers receive prompt, professional service. The ideal candidate has experience in plumbing or other home service trades, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. FieldEdge experience is a plus. Key Responsibilities Schedule and dispatch plumbing technicians based on availability, skills, location, and job priority. Manage daily schedules, emergency calls, cancellations, and last-minute changes. Monitor technician progress and adjust schedules to maximize productivity and minimize travel time. Communicate appointment windows, delays, and schedule updates to customers and technicians. Coordinate with customer service representatives, management, and field personnel. Maintain accurate job information, scheduling details, and work order statuses in FieldEdge. Identify scheduling conflicts and help improve dispatch efficiency. Qualifications 3+ years of dispatching experience, preferably in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or another home service trade. Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive under pressure. Proficiency with computers and scheduling software.
