Plant Squeeze Lift Operator/Helper

Job Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Production Plant Squeeze Lift Operator and Helper! In this vital role, you will support daily operations within a fast-paced cotton fiber production environment. Though this is a temporary position, there is potential for full-time employment depending on employee performance and market-driven variables. Duties Assist with the handling of cotton fiber materials into and out of a cotton fiber processing facility utilizing a forklift with squeeze clamps attached. Handle materials using forklifts and other material handling equipment to move raw materials, components, and finished products safely within the warehouse or production area. Assist in upholding good housekeeping procedures to ensure a safe and quality oriented environment. Assist in machinery repair and maintenance as required during the production shift. Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues while adhering to all regulatory and legal compliance standards. Skills Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues efficiently. Warehouse experience including materials handling, inventory management, and use of material handling equipment. Ability to work with other employees to open and prepare raw cotton fiber into the production process. Experience in repairing machinery utilizing wrenches, hammers, air tools, etc. Forklift experience and/or certification utilizing squeeze clamps is a plus.
