Plant Shipping & Receiving Specialist - 2nd shift

We are looking for a talented Plant Shipping & Receiving Specialist supporting our 2 nd Shift to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Cummins Drivetrain & Braking Systems Business Unit facility in Maxton, NC. Under minimal supervision, the Plant Shipping & Receiving Specialist coordinates operations through interaction with operations management. Coordinates activities for different areas like Inbound, Outbound, Kitting, etc. based on direction from Operations management. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Create a safer workplace by proactively identifying hazards, stopping work when serious risks are present, reporting incidents promptly, and leading HSE awareness and training efforts. Improve operational efficiency by accurately receiving, sorting, labeling, storing, and managing inventory to optimize warehouse space and material flow. Ensure reliable customer delivery by operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to pick, pack, and ship products correctly and on time. Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance safety, quality, processes, equipment reliability, material flow, and employee development. Strengthen overall team performance by communicating effectively, supporting training completion, maintaining an organized work environment, collaborating with support teams and skilled trades, and remaining flexible to meet changing business needs.
