This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing purchasing, inventory coordination, logistics, and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You are someone who anticipates operational needs, follows purchasing activity from request through delivery and invoice reconciliation, and keeps accurate records that help production and warehouse teams stay on schedule. You communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams and are comfortable moving between office administration, SAP transactions, inventory tracking, and plant support activities. Position Overview The Plant Purchaser & Support Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Dover facility by integrating administrative support with purchasing, inventory management, and logistics coordination. This position maintains accurate documentation, helps secure timely material availability, and supports day-to-day plant activities that enable uninterrupted production. Serving as a central communication hub for the plant, this role works closely with purchasing, production, customer service, warehouse teams, suppliers, and carriers to streamline purchasing processes, monitor inventory, coordinate deliveries, and proactively address potential supply chain risks. Key Responsibilities Create, manage, and track purchase orders in SAP and Concur for raw materials, packaging, consumables, spare parts, and general plant supplies. Administer purchase orders through the full procurement cycle, including supplier acknowledgments, delivery updates, expediting, and documentation. Communicate with suppliers and carriers to support on-time delivery and resolve delays, changes, or discrepancies. Assess production material requirements and coordinate with warehouse and production teams to support timely replenishment.
