Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Plant Propagator & Inventory Manager to lead our horticultural propagation efforts and oversee inventory control within our growing operation. This role combines hands-on plant propagation, greenhouse and outdoor cultivation, and meticulous inventory management to ensure a steady supply of healthy plants for various projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong horticultural knowledge, experience with irrigation systems, and the ability to manage a team effectively. Duties Propagate plants through cuttings, seeds, grafting, and other methods to meet production schedules Manage greenhouse cultivation and outdoor planting activities, ensuring optimal growing conditions Implement and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for plant care, pest management, and safety protocols Conduct plant identification, health assessments, and pest control measures using integrated pest management techniques Maintain accurate inventory records of plants, supplies, tools, and equipment; coordinate procurement as needed Monitor crop growth progress; adjust watering schedules and environmental controls accordingly Ensure compliance with horticultural best practices for greenhouse cultivation and outdoor work environments Experience Proven experience in horticulture or related agricultural fields with a focus on plant propagation and crop production Hands-on experience managing irrigation systems and agricultural environmental control systems Knowledge of greenhouse cultivation techniques Familiarity with integrated pest management strategies for plant pest control in both greenhouse and outdoor settings Demonstrated ability to manage horticultural teams effectively in fast-paced environments Strong understanding of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to plant care and safety protocols Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions; physical ability for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking Basic math skills for inventory tracking and measurement tasks Passion for gardening, agriculture, or sustainable plant production with a keen eye for plant identification Join us as a Plant Propagator & Inventory Manager to cultivate healthy plants while leading innovative propagation techniques!
