Plant Manager - Fabrication

Pivotal Health Solutions is seeking a Plant Manager to lead our fabrication team in Watertown, SD. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the fabrication facility, ensuring efficient production, high-quality output, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. This role is responsible for managing personnel, optimizing workflow, coordinating with engineering and logistics, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet production goals and company objectives. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities Lead and manage all plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, and safety. Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer and project deadlines. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions as needed. Supervise and mentor department supervisors, team leads, and production staff. Ensure proper use and maintenance of fabrication equipment and machinery. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure smooth production flow. Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Manage plant budgets and control operating costs. Ensure compliance with OSHA and other applicable safety regulations. Oversee hiring, training, and performance evaluations of plant personnel. Job Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of plant or operations management experience, preferably in a fabrication or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of fabrication processes (e.g., welding, cutting, forming, CNC operations). Proven leadership and team-building skills. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities. Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Commitment to workplace safety and culture.
