MasterbiltJob Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of plant performance, ensuring production efficiency, quality standards, and safety protocols are consistently met. Duties Lead and coordinate all plant operations, including production scheduling, assembly, quality control, and supply chain management to maximize efficiency and output. Implement and sustain lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process improvement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Manage production management systems such as SAP, ERP systems, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and manufacturing management tools to streamline workflows. Analyze data using Microsoft Excel for supply chain analytics, process optimization, and operational decision-making. Oversee supply chain logistics, inventory control, and procurement activities to ensure seamless material flow and timely delivery. Develop cross-functional communication channels among departments such as engineering, quality assurance, maintenance, and procurement to foster collaboration. Lead team development initiatives by mentoring supervisors and frontline staff in lean management practices, safety standards, and operational excellence. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies across the plant. Drive continuous improvement projects by utilizing mechanical knowledge and manufacturing expertise to enhance overall plant performance. Experience Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment with a focus on process improvement and lean manufacturing techniques. Strong background in operations management systems such as SAP, ERP systems, MRP software, and production planning tools. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through team leadership skills coupled with cross-functional communication expertise. Familiarity with supply chain management principles including logistics analytics and inventory control practices. Knowledge of mechanical systems relevant to manufacturing processes is highly desirable. Experience implementing Six Sigma or lean management strategies to optimize workflows is preferred.
