Plant Manager

Northwest Frozen is a frozen food processing and distribution company, and we need a hands-on leader who owns safety, quality, output and people, and who reports results straight to ownership. What you'll do Oversee daily plant operations across production, warehouse and shipping so orders go out on time and to spec. Lead, hire, train and develop supervisors and hourly staff across shifts, and build a culture of accountability. Own food safety and quality compliance (FSSC 22000, HACCP, FDA and USDA requirements) and be audit-ready every day. Coordinate with procurement and logistics on raw materials, inventory, cold storage and carrier schedules. Keep equipment and refrigeration running through preventive maintenance and work with the maintenance team to cut downtime. Set and track KPIs (throughput, labor, waste, safety) and report regularly to leadership. Drive continuous improvement, workplace safety (OSHA) and cost control. What you bring 7+ years in food manufacturing or frozen/cold-chain operations, including 3+ years as a plant or operations manager. Strong working knowledge of food safety systems (HACCP, GFSI schemes such as FSSC 22000). A track record of leading teams on multiple shifts. Comfort with ERP/inventory systems and data-driven decisions. A bachelor's degree in engineering, food science, operations or business is preferred; equivalent experience counts.
