Job Summary The Plant Manager is the primary on-site leader of The Nutty Bavarian's Deltona, FL manufacturing and warehouse facility, holding full accountability for all plant operations — including production, warehouse management, order fulfillment, equipment maintenance, facilities, sanitation, and food safety and quality assurance (FSQA). Reporting to the VP, Operations, this role ensures the safe, efficient, and compliant production of fresh roasted, cinnamon glazed nuts and Kettle Fresh Fudge in support of the Company's growing customer base and licensee network. The Plant Manager leads a cross-functional team of across Production, Warehouse, Equipment Maintenance & Repair, and Facilities & Plant Maintenance, driving daily operational execution while partnering closely with the Director, FSQA to ensure all products meet food safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This position balances hands-on floor leadership with strategic planning, translating corporate operational goals into plant-level execution across staffing, scheduling, throughput, cost control, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is an experienced food manufacturing leader with a strong background in production management, warehouse and distribution operations, and food safety/quality systems, who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment and can build a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Plant Leadership & Operations Management Serve as the senior on-site leader for the Deltona plant, holding full accountability for all daily operations including production, warehouse, order fulfillment, equipment maintenance, facilities, sanitation, and FSQA. Lead, coach, and develop the plant leadership team, including the Production Manager, Warehouse Supervisor, Equipment Maintenance & Repair Manager, and Facilities & Plant Maintenance Manager. Establish and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production and operational goals, ensuring alignment with company revenue, cost, and service-level objectives. Conduct regular walkthroughs of the production floor, warehouse, and facility to identify and resolve operational, safety, or quality concerns. Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across all plant departments. Partner with the VP, Operations to develop annual operating plans, capital expenditure requests, and staffing plans for the facility.
