Project Support / Dispatch Coordinator Commercial Construction | Full-Time | Immediate Start Pay: Starting at $50,000 per year Our crews are on active commercial job sites every day, and they need someone in the office who keeps schedules, service calls, and subcontractors moving. You’ll be the main link between the field and management, and you’ll see the results of your work on every project we finish. ECMC Contracting is a well-established commercial construction company based in Moncton, NB. We build retail stores and handle maintenance and repairs for major retailers across Canada. A Typical Day You’ll start by checking the day’s service calls and assigning them to crews. From there, you’ll keep subcontractors updated on work orders, track jobs as they progress, and make sure the paperwork and project records stay current. When plans change, you’ll adjust travel, accommodations, and routes so crews stay productive across our service area. What You’ll Do Dispatch maintenance and repair service calls and track them through to completion Support project managers with scheduling, documentation, and day-to-day project coordination Coordinate travel, accommodation, and route planning for crews across active job sites Work daily with subcontractors on work orders, maintenance requests, and updates Keep project databases, records, and documentation accurate and up to date Provide general office support: data entry, filing, scanning, and reporting What You Bring 1+ years of administrative experience, ideally in construction or a related industry A diploma in Office Administration or similar, or equivalent experience Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle competing priorities Excellent verbal and written English A calm, organized approach when things get busy Experience working with a project manager is an asset Schedule Standard hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Because our crews sometimes work evenings and weekends, this role includes an on-call rotation [e.g. one weekend in every 3 weeks]. During on-call periods, your office hours are reduced to balance the after-hours coverage.
