Job Description: About the Role: The Planning Supervisor is responsible for organizing and optimizing capacity and internal material flows from receipt to customer delivery. This role ensures efficient execution of production plans, maximizes service levels, and minimizes capital usage, while maintaining compliance with Schneider Electric’s quality, safety, and environmental standards. Key Responsibilities Production & Flow Management Organize flows to ensure timely delivery of finished goods. Optimize material usage and production scheduling to meet customer demand. Own production control from job order created to job closed including inventory control, material variances, and close out of production orders. Expedite critical material deliveries and escalate issues when necessary. Planning & Scheduling Define and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS). Provide updated lead times to the business on all major product lines. Maintain and update production plans to support procurement and delivery feasibility. Utilize Schneider Electric planning tools (e.g., SAP IBP, MRP, APS systems) to support real-time decision-making and analytics. Participate in S&OP processes and long-term planning Adjust schedules to accommodate priority changes, material shortages, or equipment downtime. Performance & Reporting Monitor and improve site-level supply chain KPIs Manage data processing and reporting for internal and external stakeholders. Conduct ABC/FMR analysis and define lead times for large ETO projects using Gantt charts. Develop, coach, and mentor a planning team to support both operational excellence and long-term growth. Continuous Improvement Actively contribute to Schneider Production System (SPS) initiatives. Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, focusing on lead-time reduction, ERP data accuracy, forecasting accuracy, and process automation. Collaborate with management to identify and implement improvement opportunities. Compliance & Safety Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality regulations. Promote awareness of PPE usage, pedestrian safety, and company policies. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) OTDC – On-Time Delivery to Customer OTDP – On-Time Delivery to Plan LTO – Lead Time Offer Compliance Slow-Moving Inventory – Monitor and reduce slow-moving raw materials (External) English Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) and APICS/CSCP certification preferred. Experience: 7+ years of supply chain, procurement, or production planning experience in a manufacturing or engineered-to-order environment. 2+ years leading a team Proven track record managing complex supply chains. Experience working within a matrixed, global organization is a strong plus—ideally within Schneider Electric or similar environment. Skills & Competencies: Deep understanding of planning, lead time constraints, and capacity planning. Strong ERP/MRP planning system expertise (SAP or equivalent). High proficiency in data analytics, reporting tools, and Excel. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated leadership and change management capabilities.
