Job Summary Joe's Pizza is seeking an organized and dependable Pizza Vendor Coordinator to manage supplier communications, coordinate ingredient deliveries, and support vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will help maintain reliable supply arrangements, monitor product availability, and ensure that pizza ingredients and restaurant supplies meet quality and delivery requirements. Manage supplier arrangements for flour, cheese, tomatoes, sauces, vegetables, meats, and other pizza ingredients. Request and compare vendor quotations, pricing, and product specifications. Track purchase orders and confirm delivery schedules. Monitor supplier performance, product quality, and delivery accuracy. Coordinate with kitchen managers to identify ingredient and supply requirements. Maintain updated vendor contact information and purchasing records. Follow up on delayed, incomplete, or incorrect deliveries. Identify alternative suppliers when products are unavailable. Assist with purchasing budgets and ingredient cost monitoring. Review invoices and report pricing or billing discrepancies. Maintain professional relationships with vendors and internal departments. Qualifications and Requirements Previous experience in vendor coordination, purchasing, procurement, or restaurant operations is preferred. Knowledge of food ingredients and restaurant supply operations. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Good organizational and time-management abilities. Basic computer skills, including spreadsheets and purchasing systems. Ability to compare prices and review supplier information. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to coordinate multiple orders and delivery schedules.
