Pizza Supply Associate

Job Summary Dellarocco's Brick Oven Pizza is seeking a dependable and organized Pizza Supply Associate to support the daily supply and inventory needs of restaurant operations. The successful candidate will assist with receiving deliveries, organizing ingredients, monitoring stock levels, preparing supply requests, and ensuring that pizza kitchen teams have the materials needed for efficient service. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, basic inventory management skills, and an understanding of food storage and handling practices. Key Responsibilities Receive and inspect deliveries of pizza ingredients, kitchen supplies, and packaging materials. Check incoming products against purchase orders and delivery documentation. Organize and store ingredients in designated storage areas. Monitor stock levels of flour, tomatoes, cheeses, meats, vegetables, sauces, and other pizza ingredients. Notify supervisors when supplies are running low or require replenishment. Assist with preparing supply requests and restocking schedules. Rotate inventory using appropriate stock rotation procedures. Check product labels, expiration dates, packaging, and general quality. Maintain accurate inventory records and delivery logs. Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to the appropriate supervisor. Coordinate with kitchen employees to understand daily supply requirements. Keep storage areas clean, organized, and accessible. Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Assist with inventory counts and periodic stock checks. Support efficient movement of supplies between receiving, storage, and kitchen areas. Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in restaurant operations, stock handling, receiving, or inventory support is an advantage. Basic understanding of food products and kitchen supplies. Ability to organize, count, and track inventory accurately. Strong attention to detail and time-management skills. Ability to follow food storage and sanitation procedures. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Basic computer skills for inventory records and data entry. Ability to lift and move supply containers within reasonable workplace requirements. Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills Experience working in a pizzeria, restaurant, or food service operation. Familiarity with pizza ingredients and kitchen supply requirements. Knowledge of inventory rotation and product storage practices. Ability to identify shortages and communicate replenishment needs. Experience receiving deliveries and maintaining stock records. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to coordinate effectively with kitchen and management teams. Work Environment Restaurant kitchen, storage, and supply receiving areas. Regular interaction with kitchen employees, supervisors, and delivery personnel. Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and organizing supplies. Exposure to refrigerated storage areas and active kitchen environments. Requires attention to food safety and cleanliness standards.
