Job Summary Sal's Pizzeria is seeking an organized and dependable Pizza Supplier Coordinator to support supplier communication, purchasing coordination, and ingredient delivery operations. This role helps ensure that pizza ingredients, packaging materials, and kitchen supplies are ordered, tracked, and delivered on schedule. Common Job Roles Supplier Coordination Purchasing Support Vendor Communication Ingredient Ordering Delivery Scheduling Inventory Coordination Key Responsibilities Coordinate with suppliers regarding pizza ingredients and kitchen supplies. Prepare and submit purchase orders based on operational needs. Monitor supplier delivery schedules and follow up on delayed orders. Maintain accurate supplier records, pricing information, and order documentation. Communicate with kitchen and management teams about supply requirements. Track ingredient availability and report potential shortages. Assist with reviewing product quality and resolving delivery discrepancies. Support cost-conscious purchasing and inventory management. Maintain professional relationships with vendors and service providers. Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in purchasing, supplier coordination, or food service is an advantage. Strong communication and organizational skills. Basic computer skills, including email and spreadsheet applications. Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines. Attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping. Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and management staff.
