Job Summary Milano Pizza is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Pizza Stock Control Clerk to assist with monitoring inventory, maintaining accurate stock records, and organizing ingredients and restaurant supplies. Record incoming deliveries, outgoing stock, and inventory adjustments accurately. Conduct routine stock counts and report discrepancies to management. Check deliveries against purchase orders and invoices. Inspect products for quality, freshness, damaged packaging, and expiration dates. Organize storage areas and label ingredients and supplies appropriately. Apply first-in, first-out (FIFO) stock rotation procedures. Notify supervisors when ingredients or restaurant supplies require replenishment. Maintain records of damaged, expired, or wasted products. Coordinate with kitchen staff to support daily ingredient requirements. Assist with preparing inventory summaries and stock movement reports. Help maintain appropriate storage conditions for perishable ingredients. Keep inventory areas clean, organized, and accessible. Follow applicable food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, retail, or restaurant operations is an advantage. Basic computer skills and familiarity with spreadsheets. Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to maintain organized records and documentation. Good communication and teamwork skills. Understanding of stock rotation and food storage practices. Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a busy environment.
