Job Summary Cent'Anni is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Pizza Sourcing Coordinator to identify suppliers, evaluate ingredient options, and coordinate sourcing activities for pizza ingredients and kitchen supplies. The successful candidate will help maintain product quality, competitive purchasing costs, and reliable supplier relationships while supporting the restaurant's daily operations. Source flour, mozzarella, tomatoes, olive oil, sauces, meats, vegetables, and specialty products. Request and compare supplier quotations, pricing, and product specifications. Communicate with vendors about availability, quality standards, and delivery schedules. Coordinate sourcing requests with purchasing and kitchen management teams. Maintain updated supplier databases and sourcing documentation. Monitor ingredient availability and identify potential supply shortages. Research alternative suppliers when products are unavailable or prices change. Review samples and product information to support ingredient selection. Track sourcing activities, purchasing requests, and supplier performance. Help identify opportunities to improve sourcing efficiency and control costs. Ensure sourced products meet applicable quality and food safety requirements. Qualifications and Requirements Previous experience in sourcing, procurement, purchasing, or food service is preferred. Familiarity with restaurant ingredients and food supply operations. Strong communication, research, and organizational skills. Ability to compare supplier prices and product specifications. Basic computer skills, including spreadsheets and purchasing records. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to coordinate multiple sourcing tasks and deadlines.
