Key Responsibilities
• Analyze purchasing data, ingredient costs, and supplier pricing trends.
• Review procurement expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Evaluate supplier quotations based on price, quality, availability, and delivery reliability.
• Monitor purchasing trends for flour, mozzarella, tomatoes, sauces, meats, vegetables, and other pizza ingredients.
• Prepare reports on procurement spending, order volumes, and supplier performance.
• Review inventory levels and support ingredient demand forecasting.
• Identify purchasing patterns that may affect kitchen supply availability.
• Compare supplier prices and recommend cost-effective purchasing options.
• Track purchase orders and analyze delivery performance.
• Coordinate with kitchen management to understand ingredient requirements.
• Review invoices and purchasing records for accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain organized procurement databases, spreadsheets, and cost reports.
• Identify potential supply risks and communicate concerns to management.
• Support budget planning and purchasing decisions with accurate data.
• Recommend improvements to procurement procedures and inventory controls.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in procurement, purchasing analysis, inventory management, or restaurant operations is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or comparable spreadsheet software.
• Ability to interpret purchasing data and prepare clear reports.
• Understanding of supplier pricing, purchase orders, and inventory processes.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet reporting deadlines.
• Professional judgment when handling purchasing and financial information.
