Pizza Inventory Manager

Job Summary Juliana’s is seeking an organized and experienced Pizza Inventory Manager to oversee ingredient inventory, stock control, purchasing coordination, and supply planning for restaurant operations. This role is responsible for maintaining appropriate stock levels of pizza dough ingredients, cheese, sauces, toppings, beverages, packaging, and other essential supplies while helping control costs and reduce food waste. The ideal candidate has strong leadership and analytical skills, understands restaurant inventory procedures, and can coordinate with kitchen staff, suppliers, and management to ensure ingredients and supplies are available for daily service. Establish and maintain accurate inventory records and stock-control procedures. Conduct regular inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and investigate unusual stock variations. Coordinate purchasing and replenishment schedules with approved suppliers. Analyze ingredient usage and sales trends to forecast inventory requirements. Monitor expiration dates and implement appropriate stock rotation practices, including FIFO. Work with kitchen management to maintain sufficient ingredients for daily operations. Review supplier deliveries for accuracy, product condition, and quantity. Report damaged, missing, or unsuitable products and coordinate corrective action. Identify opportunities to reduce spoilage, unnecessary purchasing, and inventory costs. Prepare inventory summaries, purchasing reports, and stock-level updates for management. Maintain organized storage areas and support appropriate food-storage and sanitation procedures. Help train team members on inventory documentation and stock-handling standards. Ensure inventory activities follow company procedures and applicable food-safety requirements. Qualifications and Requirements Previous experience in inventory management, purchasing, or restaurant operations is preferred. Supervisory or management experience is an advantage. Familiarity with pizza ingredients and restaurant supply requirements is beneficial. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience with inventory software, spreadsheets, or point-of-sale reporting systems. Ability to forecast stock needs and manage purchasing priorities. Excellent communication and team coordination skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate recordkeeping. Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
