Job Summary NYPD Pizza Lake Cay is seeking a reliable and organized Pizza Inventory Assistant to support inventory tracking, stock organization, and ingredient replenishment for daily restaurant operations. The successful candidate will assist with receiving deliveries, checking stock quantities, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring that pizza ingredients and restaurant supplies are properly stored and readily available. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and an interest in restaurant inventory management. Key Responsibilities Assist with monitoring stock levels for pizza dough, cheese, sauces, toppings, vegetables, meats, beverages, and packaging materials. Help maintain accurate inventory records using spreadsheets or inventory management software. Count and organize incoming stock and verify quantities against delivery documents. Inspect deliveries for visible damage, quality concerns, and missing items. Report low-stock items and replenishment needs to the inventory supervisor or restaurant manager. Organize storage areas to ensure supplies remain accessible and properly labeled. Follow first-in, first-out (FIFO) stock rotation procedures. Monitor expiration dates and report expired, damaged, or unusable ingredients. Assist with routine stock counts and inventory reconciliation. Help prepare purchase requests and maintain basic supplier and delivery records. Coordinate with kitchen employees to identify ingredient requirements and prevent shortages. Support proper food storage, temperature monitoring, and sanitation procedures. Assist with identifying inventory discrepancies and reporting unusual usage or waste. Maintain clean and orderly receiving and storage areas. Follow company procedures and applicable food safety and workplace safety requirements. Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in inventory assistance, stock handling, retail, warehousing, or restaurant operations is an advantage. Basic mathematical and recordkeeping skills. Ability to use spreadsheets, computers, or inventory tracking systems. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to follow instructions and established stock-handling procedures. Good communication and teamwork skills. Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn. Ability to perform routine physical tasks, including standing, walking, and handling stock safely. Preferred Skills Inventory counting and stock organization.
