Pizza Inventory Analyst

Job Summary Joe's Pizza is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Pizza Inventory Analyst to support inventory planning, stock monitoring, and supply management. The successful candidate will help maintain accurate inventory records, analyze ingredient usage, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with kitchen staff and suppliers to ensure that essential ingredients and restaurant supplies are available when needed. Key Responsibilities Monitor inventory levels of pizza ingredients, including flour, cheese, tomato sauce, vegetables, meats, and specialty toppings. Maintain accurate records of incoming deliveries, outgoing stock, usage, and inventory adjustments. Analyze inventory trends to identify frequently used items, slow-moving products, and potential shortages. Assist with forecasting ingredient requirements based on sales trends and anticipated demand. Coordinate with kitchen employees and management to ensure inventory availability during daily operations. Review supplier deliveries and verify quantities, product quality, and supporting documentation. Track expiration dates and support proper food rotation using first-in, first-out (FIFO) procedures. Identify inventory discrepancies, investigate their causes, and recommend corrective actions. Help monitor food waste, spoilage, and inventory costs. Prepare inventory reports and communicate relevant findings to management. Support regular stock counts and inventory audits. Follow established food safety, sanitation, storage, and recordkeeping procedures. Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in inventory analysis, stock control, purchasing, or restaurant operations is an advantage. Strong numerical, organizational, and analytical skills. Basic computer proficiency, including spreadsheets and inventory tracking systems. Ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff, managers, and suppliers. Familiarity with food storage practices, expiration-date monitoring, and FIFO inventory rotation is beneficial.
