Job Summary The Corner Pizza Bar is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Pizza Ingredient Coordinator to manage ingredient availability, coordinate supply replenishment, and support efficient kitchen operations. The successful candidate will monitor ingredient stock levels, maintain accurate inventory records, inspect deliveries, and coordinate with kitchen staff and suppliers to ensure ingredients are available for daily food preparation. Maintain accurate records of ingredient quantities, deliveries, usage, and remaining stock. Coordinate ingredient replenishment based on kitchen demand and inventory levels. Communicate with suppliers regarding orders, product availability, and delivery schedules. Inspect incoming ingredients for freshness, quality, quantity, and packaging condition. Organize ingredient storage areas and ensure products are labeled appropriately. Apply first-in, first-out (FIFO) practices to support proper stock rotation. Monitor expiration dates and help prevent spoilage and unnecessary food waste. Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff to anticipate ingredient needs during busy periods. Report shortages, damaged goods, and inventory discrepancies to management. Assist with purchasing records, invoices, and ingredient cost tracking. Maintain documentation related to stock movements and supplier deliveries. Follow food safety, sanitation, and temperature-control procedures. Recommend improvements to ingredient handling and inventory organization. Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in restaurant inventory, food service, purchasing, or stock coordination is an advantage. Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills. Basic computer skills and familiarity with spreadsheets or inventory systems. Knowledge of food storage, ingredient handling, and stock rotation procedures. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working as part of a team. Preferred Skills Experience coordinating ingredients for a pizza restaurant or commercial kitchen. Familiarity with inventory management and purchasing systems. Understanding of FIFO procedures and food waste prevention. Ability to track ingredient usage and identify replenishment needs. Strong time management and problem-solving abilities. Awareness of food safety and sanitation standards.
