Job Summary Mama Mia's Pizza - St. Joe is hiring a Pizza Food Service Manager to oversee daily food service and pizzeria operations while maintaining high standards for food quality, customer service, and team performance. This role coordinates kitchen and service activities, supervises employees, manages inventory, and helps ensure efficient and consistent restaurant operations. Common Job Roles Pizza Food Service Manager Pizza Restaurant Manager Pizzeria Food Service Manager Restaurant Operations Manager Food Service Operations Manager Key Responsibilities Oversee daily pizza restaurant and food service operations Supervise, train, and support kitchen, counter, and service employees Coordinate staff schedules, shift assignments, and daily workflows Monitor pizza preparation, food quality, portion control, and presentation Ensure customer orders are prepared accurately and served efficiently Manage inventory of ingredients, toppings, beverages, packaging, and restaurant supplies Coordinate receiving, storage, stock rotation, and product replenishment Monitor food costs, waste, labor usage, and overall operational performance Maintain clean, organized, and safe kitchen, dining, and service areas Address customer concerns and resolve routine service issues professionally Ensure employees follow food safety, sanitation, cash-handling, and workplace safety procedures Assist with opening, closing, equipment checks, and daily restaurant activities Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding orders and deliveries Maintain accurate sales, inventory, staffing, and operational records Requirements Previous restaurant, pizza, food service, or hospitality management experience preferred Previous supervisory or team leadership experience Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Knowledge of food preparation, restaurant operations, and food safety procedures Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Basic computer, POS, scheduling, and inventory management skills Reliable, professional, and customer-focused Preferred Skills Experience managing a pizzeria or high-volume restaurant Knowledge of pizza preparation and commercial kitchen operations Strong scheduling, inventory, and cost-control abilities Experience coaching, training, and developing restaurant employees Familiarity with POS and restaurant management systems Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills Ability to improve food service workflows and operational efficiency About the Company Mama Mia's Pizza - St Joe operates in the pizza and restaurant industry, providing pizza and casual food service in a customer-focused environment.
