Pipe Yard Material Handler

Duties Safely load, unload, and transport pipes and related materials using forklifts Manage inventory by accurately picking orders and maintaining organized storage areas Assist in shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments, recording data, and preparing materials for dispatch Conduct manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while following OSHA safety standards to prevent injuries Maintain a clean, safe yard environment through regular inspections Support yard operations by coordinating with supervisors on material placement, order picking, and load/unload activities Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution or warehouse operations with a focus on materials handling Familiarity with order picker operation, forklift driving Knowledge of inventory management Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements, quantities, and weight assessments Strong understanding of safety protocols including OSHA regulations related to heavy equipment operation and manual handling Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks consistently throughout shifts Join us as a Pipe Yard Material Handler where your skills will drive efficiency in our operations!
