WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A NEW EMPLOYEE: Reaction is looking for a laborer eager to learn a new application for their operating skills. Someone with a positive work attitude and a can-do outlook on work. Someone with good verbal and written communication skills, the ability to use and understand digital means of communication and documentation, and good problem solving skills. Reaction is only interested in workers with a strong sense of ownership of their work, truck, tools, equipment, and work area. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES would be: The successful candidate for this position would be assisting with helical pile fabrication and installation. You would be responsible for: Providing an accurate, quality product for the client. Acting professionally on-site. Analyzing blueprints and shop drawings. Helping create a positive work environment for those working with you and around you. Performing pre- and post-trip inspections and all other safety documentation. Performing ongoing maintenance on vehicles and equipment. Always working and operating in a safe and efficient manner, as per Reaction's safety policies. Working late as required, to finish jobs on time. Equipment / Material transportation. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS for this position are: Completion of a high school diploma. Valid Class 5 license Legally entitled to work in Canada. Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Good working knowledge of mobile/digital forms of communication and record-keeping. Having reliable transportation to get to/from our shop in Nisku. The ability to pass a drug & alcohol test. The ability to work out of town on various project sites. Providing three (3) professional references. STRONG ASSETS that will help move you to the top of the list: A positive work attitude. Eagerness to learn and develop skills. Direct screw pile installation experience. Experience leading crews and mentoring young/inexperienced workers.
