Pickup & Delivery Driver Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and professional Pickup & Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering goods and packages to customers efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage delivery schedules effectively. This position plays a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries, contributing to overall customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles to pick up and deliver goods, packages, or supplies to designated locations. Follow scheduled routes and delivery instructions accurately while maintaining punctuality. Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely manner, adhering to safety and traffic regulations. Handle packages with care, ensuring they are secure during transit and properly delivered to recipients. Communicate effectively with dispatch or management regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during routes. Maintain the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle to ensure safe operation at all times. Obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery as required by company policies. Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and responsive to customer inquiries or concerns. Experience Prior experience in delivery driving or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required. Ability to navigate using GPS devices or maps efficiently. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple deliveries daily. Good communication skills and a professional attitude are essential for interacting with customers and team members.
