Picker/Packer/Shipper

Picker/Packer needed for busy store fixture manufacture. Must have a minimum of 2-year experience. We need a highly organized and efficient shipping Picker/Packer to take over the shipping accuracy. Picker/Packer ensure products are properly packed and organized for safe shipment. Picker/Packer are also responsible for cleaning, organizing, and labeling products in the shipping staging area. When necessary, he or she will also cross-train and participate in other aspects of the business. Picker/Packer responsibilities and duties · Able to drive a Forklift · Remove and load skid for the racks · Pick all item from the packing list · Pack up all item to be ready to ship · Check that item all that are going on to the trucks are correct · Check that all part has the correct part # and label · Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs · Print daily packing list and cross-check with computer software to ensure accuracy · Affix proper postage to each package in preparation for shipping · Process orders based on the buyer’s preferred shipping system (e.g. USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.) · Ensure products are properly packed and organized for safe shipment · Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed Picker/Packer qualifications and skills · High school diploma/GED preferred · 1+ years’ experience in shipping · Excellent organizational and time management skills · Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics · Capable of working a consistent schedule starting at 7:00AM · Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
